Location

In person sessions are held in a private office in Long Beach, California. Remote teletherapy sessions are held over a HIPAA compliant online platform.

Fees

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises

Insurance

I no longer accept most insurance because of the low reimbursement rate for providers. Please reach out to see which providers I currently accept.

For PPO plans I can provide a comprehensive bill for possible reimbursement. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for out-of-network psychotherapy services.

I’d recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:

  • Does my plan include mental health benefits?
  • Does my plan allow for out of network providers?
  • Will the company accept a “superbill” for reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses? If so, how much is the reimbursed per session?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.
